15 Home Remedies for Curing Cavities

Tooth decay is the most common oral health problem, across the world. Anyone can suffer from tooth decay, including children and adults. Dental cavities are exactly what they sound like – cavities, or holes, in your teeth, caused by tooth decay.

Dental cavities are typically caused due to bacterial infections and the demineralization of the teeth. Eating sugary foods that cling to the teeth, sipping on fruit juices, and poor oral hygiene can all increase the chances of tooth decay.

While brushing your teeth and practicing proper oral hygiene can help limit the chances of tooth decay, there are other home remedies that you can attempt. If you are worried about tooth decay or have already noticed some of the signs of tooth decay, then take a look at the following 15 home remedies for curing cavities.

To use Indian gooseberry to help prevent tooth decay, combined a ½ teaspoon of with dried Indian gooseberry powder with a ½ a cup of water. Drink this mixture every day, to protect your gums.

Salt

To use salt, dissolve one-teaspoon of salt in a glass of warm water. Use the salt water as a mouth rinse. Swish the salt water around in your mouth for about one minute. Use this treatment several times a day.
