The Epley maneuver was designed to help deal with vertigo. This method does not work for everyone, but you have nothing to lose. There is no risk of any negative side effects if you try this maneuver.

If you want to try the Epley maneuver, sit on your bed and place a pillow behind you. Align the pillow so that it will be positioned under your shoulders if you were to lie down. Next, turn your head 45 degrees in the direction that you experience vertigo. For example, if your vertigo is in your left ear, turn your head to the left.

Swiftly lay back, so that your shoulders are resting on the pillow and your head is resting on the bed. Lay in that position for thirty seconds. Without lifting your head, turn your head 90 degrees to the opposite direction. Stay in this position for thirty seconds.

Slowly sit up, while turning your head to face directly in front of you. Repeat this process several times a day. If this solution does work for you, you should notice positive results within one week.
