Apply a small amount of pure orange oil directly to your toes, using a dropper. Leave in place for at least 30 minutes and repeat twice per day until you notice that the fungus starts to go away.

After mixing the ingredients, add a ¼ cup of white vinegar. Soak your toenail in this mixture for close to ten minutes.

After soaking your foot, wash your foot with clean water and pat dry. Continue using this treatment twice per day for several weeks.

Apple Cider Vinegar

Apple cider vinegar has an acidic content that can help kill fungus and prevent the fungus from spreading. Combine an equal amount of water and apple cider vinegar. Soak your toenail in the mixture for 30 minutes, each day. Afterwards, dry your foot. You should notice results within a couple of weeks.

White Vinegar

White vinegar is a useful substance for treating toenail fungus. White vinegar has antifungal properties that can help kill the fungus and prevent the spread of infection, while restoring the pH balance of your skin.

To use white vinegar for treating toenail fungus, combine one-part white vinegar to two-parts warm water. Soak your toenail in this solution for about 15 minutes. Afterwards, rinse your foot off and thoroughly dry the infected skin. Continue using this process twice per day, until the fungus has been removed. If you notice any irritation, add a little more water to the solution and use every other day, instead of every day.

Lemon Juice

Next up is lemon juice. Lemon juice contains antifungal and antiseptic properties. The citric acid found in lemon juice will help kill the toenail fungus. You do not need to mix any ingredients. Simply apply fresh lemon juice to your toenail and leave in place for at least 30 minutes. Rinse your foot off, using warm water and then dry thoroughly.

You could also use lemon juice and olive oil, combining equal amounts of both, and massage the mixture into your toenail. Leave the mixture in place for several hours. Use either lemon juice remedy on a daily basis.

Oregano Oil

Mix one-teaspoon of olive oil with two drops of oregano oil. Apply the mixture directly to your skin and leave in place for at least 30 minutes. Rinse your foot and dry thoroughly. Continue using this treatment, once or twice per day, for three weeks.

Tea Tree Oil

Repeat this process two or three times each day, until the fungus is gone.


Garlic also contains antifungal properties. Mix an equal amount of garlic oil with white vinegar. Apply the mixture to your toenail and the surrounding area. Cover the infected area with a bandage and leave in place for several hours. Then remove the bandage and rinse the skin. Use this process each day to clear the infection.

Lavender Oil


Using lavender oil could be more soothing than some of the other remedies. It can help with infections, fungus, and skin irritation. Combine five drops of lavender oil with five drops of tea tree oil. Use a cotton ball in order to apply the mixture to the infected toenail. Leave the oil on your skin for at least 10 minutes, before rinsing and drying your toes. You can repeat this process several times each day.

Afterwards, rinse your foot with cool water and pat dry. Use this process each day for several weeks.
